Tackling Inequality

An event organised by Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust and The Children's Wood to explore inequality in a global and local context:

Preview screening of The Divide, a documentary based on the best selling book, The Spirit Level.

Join us after in a discussion of how we can tackle inequality at home. 

This event is free, donations to Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust and  The Children's Wood are welcome. Suggested donation (payable via Eventbrite or at the event): £5.00. Advanced booking is essential. Tickets are available on Eventbrite:

The schedule:

12pm - 2pm - Talk from documentary director, Katharine Round and preview screening of The Divide

2pm - 2.30pm - Break for free refreshments and browsing of local community stall

2.30pm - 3.30pm - Talks from David Walsh, Centre for Population Health and Carol Craig, Centre for Confidence and Wellbeing

3.30pm - 4.30pm - Workshop - Make My Council Fair

Suitable for adults. 
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Disabled access available in the Burgh Halls. 
Limited on street parking available by the Burgh Halls.
