Nursery

The nursery provides childcare for children from birth – 5 years within the refurbished Burgh Halls, offering high quality facilities in a building designed to high standards of environmentally sustainable design.

The Burgh Halls, which are wheelchair accessible, offers premises for day care services for up to 40 children. The nursery is newly constructed; offering modern purpose built facilities and includes separate rooms for children aged 0-2, 2-3 and 3-5.  

The design features a secure entry system and access to an outside play area which will be secure and enclosed, recognising the importance of fresh air and active play to children’s development. On street parking will also be available.

The childcare provided will be:

• Flexible with opening hours to accommodate working parents

• Supportive to parents and vulnerable families within the local area

• Supportive to access employment, training and education for local residents

• Qualified staff who are registered with SSSC
