Halls Bookings Summary

FROM JANUARY 2012 TO DATE, THE MAIN HALL & MEETING ROOMS HAVE BEEN BOOKED FOR EVENTS ON AVERAGE AT LEAST ONCE EVERY DAY.

Music, Arts & Film - Regular rehearsals venue for both local amateur and professional orchestras as well as major international bands such as Wet Wet Wet. We’ve also hosted performances by Scottish Opera, the National Theatre of Scotland, and a sell-out family film showing of the Muppets. We’ve also featured as a filming location in BBC Scotland’s Burnistoun!

Family Events - We’ve hosted full weddings, wedding receptions, anniversary dinners, kids and adult birthday parties, and funerals, the majority of which are for local people.

Community & Public Consultation Events - We’ve provided space and facilities for North Glasgow Youth Arts Festival. We’re used frequently by other local organisations wanting a venue to hold public consultations and open meetings - including the Health Service, local Housing Associations, Scottish Canals, the Police, and many more.

Classes & Training - We have regular bookings from dance company DanceUK, as well as hosting weekly stress-management sessions via Lifelink.

Conferences & Meetings - We’re used heavily by local housing associations, the NHS GG&C, and even hosted the annual conference of a Scotland-wide political party.
