Get involved - volunteer for the Trust!
If you're interested in really getting involved with the Burgh Halls project and the history and community of Maryhill, why not volunteer? To find out directly from our current volunteers what that is like please take a look at our volunteer gallery. If you would like to join the team please carry on reading and then fill in the attached form.
We currently require:
- Heritage Volunteers to deliver tours of the building and surrounding area, engage with the public on the history of the halls and be members of a local history group.
- Reception Volunteers to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the hall by greeting and directing visitors and event attendees, both face-to-face and over the phone. A great opportunity for anyone looking to gain reception, customer service or events experience, with morning and afternoon volunteering slots available Monday - Friday.
- Gardening Volunteers to plan, design and develop the considerable outside space and indoor plant displays. We require both experienced gardeners to lead this project and enthusiastic beginners for this role.
- Administration/Event Volunteers carry out a wide range of tasks that help us to ensure customers are looked after from the moment they make an enquiry until their event is complete. This role provides valuable experience for those looking to work in administration, events or marketing and a great opportunity to gain a range of skills in an interesting and varied environment.
For information or to apply for any of these roles please fill in the form below
