Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust is excited to team up with Free Wheel North at The White House to offer a heritage led bike ride.
Learn about the mystery of the Three Tree Well and discover Greek Thomson and Mackintosh designs where you least expect them on a gentle ride along the Forth and Clyde Canal and River Kelvin.
Join us at the launch of our new led bike rides on Saturday 18th June 2016 at 11am for the Hidden Maryhill bike ride.
More dates will be announced soon.
Meet at the White House Inn , 1641 Maryhill Road (by the Maryhill Locks, Forth and Clyde Canal) at 10.30am for an 11am start.

Tours are free but you are also welcome to book onto our Afternoon Tea Tour offer:
£3.50 for a tea/coffee and scone after the tour and this includes a £1.25 donation to the Burgh Halls Trust.

From suffragettes to institutions for 'wayward girls', there is a story to tell of women's history in Maryhill.

Maryhill Burgh Halls Free Building Tours:
Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust would like to invite you to take a free tour of Maryhill Burgh Halls, learn about the history of the building, see the unique stained glass windows and other Maryhill history-related artefacts and stories, as well as getting to see what facilities are available to hire and let.
Parts of the building aren’t open to the public on a daily basis, but we are keen to give people a chance to get in for a proper look around. Please book onto the tours as spaces are limited.
The next tour dates in 2016 available are:
Thursday 7th April at 2pm
All these tours last approximately 1 hour. You will also have the opportunity to join the Trust at the end.
Free, Guided Maryhill Heritage Walks:
Discover the rich heritage of Maryhill along the canal and river walkways on a guided walk with a member of our heritage team.
The next heritage walk dates in 2016 are:
Saturday 25th June at 1pm
The walks begin at 1pm and last approximately one hour. If there are no scheduled events in the main hall on the day, the walk will also include a viewing of the stained glass windows in the Burgh Halls.
Please wear comfortable clothing which is suitable for mixed terrains. In the event of bad weather, the walk may be cancelled up to an hour before the start time. If the walk is cancelled, we will contact you via the contact details you provide when you book a place.
