Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced caterers to operate the café within the Maryhill Burgh Halls at Gairbraid Avenue in Maryhill, Glasgow.

The Trust is seeking to appoint a catering partner who will deliver great service, a range of café style foods, consistent quality and value for customers. The café operator will also have the opportunity to service small scale hospitality to meeting rooms and users of the Halls.
The café is situated on the ground floor of the premises which also include a magnificent Hall, meeting rooms, a nursery and office/studio spaces to rent. Current tenants include Cube Housing and the Royal Voluntary Service and approximately 60 staff work from the Halls premises. The Halls are situated adjacent to Glasgow Club Maryhill, a busy sports club, and are directly opposite the new Maryhill Health Centre.

The licence term is expected to commence during July 2016 for a period of three years, with the option to extend for up to two further years.

The successful operator will be responsible for rates and is required to make a fixed contribution of £100 plus VAT per month towards utilities and building costs. The operator will also be required to make a concession payment to the Trust when turnover reaches an agreed level. The caterer will be expected to supply all heavy and light equipment required for the successful delivery of the operation. The Trust will supply premises and fixtures including tabling, sinks and ventilation.

An open morning will be held at the Halls on Thursday 9 June at which interested parties can view the facilities and ask questions.
