This is what community looks like

25 years of Maryhill Integration Network

23rd October - 18th December

We’re delighted to be hosting our Maryhill neighbours, Maryhill Integration Network, as they celebrate their 25th anniversary year.

Since 2001, MIN has been bringing people together in Maryhill, welcoming folk who’ve come here from all over the world alongside neighbours whose families have been here for generations. With support from the Scottish Council on Archives, they’ve gathered and catalogued 25 years of that work into a community archive, and this exhibition shares a selection of it with you.

You’ll find photographs, newsletters and press cuttings, but this is much more than paperwork. There’s pottery, a huge handmade banner, prints, zines, poetry pamphlets, recipe books and graphic novels, all made by people taking part in MIN’s creative groups and projects over the years. Each piece started with people getting together, sharing their stories and making something new.

It’s a celebration of what a community can do together, and a reminder that MIN’s story is still being written.

Free entry, everyone welcome. Pop in and have a look.
