Partick Thistle fc

150 anniversary exhibition

8th June - 24th July 2026

2026 marks 150 years of Partick Thistle F.C. and to celebrate, the Jags are back at Maryhill Burgh Halls.

Partick Thistle has been a club with deep roots in the north of Glasgow, and this exhibition brings that history home to Maryhill. Put together by the club's dedicated memorabilia volunteers, it brings together a collection of artefacts spanning 150 years, including some that have never been on public display before.

On display you'll find the ball used in the club's very first match at Firhill, players' contracts from the 1920s, leather football boots from the 1950s, and the head of Tee Pee, a brightly coloured toucan who holds the distinction of being the club's earliest mascot. Some of these objects will be familiar, others you really won't have seen before.

Whether you're a lifelong Jag or just curious about the club that calls this part of the city home, there's something here for you.

We'll soon be back on a Saturday afternoon, but first, come and reminisce at the Halls.
