Sara is a Glasgow theatre practitioner and educator whose family lost Gaelic within her lifetime. Determined that loss would last only one generation, she’s spent seven years learning the language and rediscovering herself along the way.
Join us as she shares the joys and challenges of learning a minoritised language as an adult, and how Gaelic’s influence on Scotland’s landscape and languages has changed the way she sees the world. Fluent speakers, curious beginners and story lovers all welcome!
